Kiln dry Hardwood Nets are a practical way to buy logs in small loads. All our dried logs are hardwood which is known to burn longer and give off more heat than softwood. Primarily a mixture of oak, ash, sycamore, beech and silver birch and seasoned until extensive tests show the moisture content to be less than 25%, you'll get that beautiful wood-burning aroma. With only a 20%-25% moisture content you can be sure that your wood will burn easily, generating little smoke.
Oak and beech have a higher density compared to other hardwoods. This means they may take longer to light, will then last longer.
We estimate that a net will last an average user approximately 1 night and a builders bag around 1 month. Our Nets are approximately 25 x 50 x 25cm and fully stacked. The logs measure 25 - 30cm each. We use a variety of net styles, so design of the bags may change, however the volume contained in the net remains the same.
The pricing on our website includes delivery. However should you choose to collect a a Net of Seasoned Logs from our premises at White House Farm, Laughton, LE17 6QD, the price per net reduces from £8.50 to only £7.50 per bag or 10 nets for £70.00. We are open 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
